4 aspirations for Spring 2015
Bit late on this one aren’t I? Oopsies! I know there are only about 5 weeks of Spring left (say WHAT?!), but I wanted to share my 4 aspirations before POOF, it’s gone.
I actually managed to complete half of my Winter aspirations! One of them was to begin Global Feasts, which I have completed 4 of so far this year! Another was to stay active. This may be the only year of my life where I have been exercising regularly. I have noticed a giant difference in my energy, strength, and stamina levels. So pumped about this!
OK, here they are folks, the Spring aspirations:
1. Have a weekly dinner with friends: Since Jared is living in Seattle this Spring and summer, and I work from home, I am starting to be a lonely lonely lady! I REALLY need to put in the effort to get out of the house and see my friends more often. Especially since I will be moving back up to Seattle in August.
2. Take weekend hikes with the hubby: I will only get to see Jared on the weekends for the next 3 1/2 months, so it would be nice to enjoy the season while spending quality time together. I anticipate a day of hiking and a day of cuddling in our weekend futures. ha!
3. Hit up the farmer’s market more often. Olympia has an incredible farmer’s market! Sadly, I am a bit of a drive away, but that really shouldn’t stop me from supporting local farmers and artisans. The market is now open a handful of days a week, plus, I ADORE going to the farmer’s market. No excuses eh?
4. Make a strawberry rhubarb pie with my grandfather. My favorite vegetable is rhubarb, which is something I got from my grandfather. He loves rhubarb as much as I do and grows it in his yard. Every year, he makes a fantastic pie that I have always wanted to learn how to make. Time to make it happen!
Cheers to Spring!
