Peanut butter chocolate syrup

Easy 5 ingredient homemade peanut butter chocolate syrup. Perfect for drizzling into milk, onto ice cream, or eating with a spoon!

  • 1 cup raw cacao powder*
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 Tablespoons creamy salted peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract


  1. Combine cacao powder, sugar, and water in a medium saucepan and heat over medium low. Stir until cacao powder and sugar is dissolved, about 2 minutes.
  2. Add peanut butter and vanilla and continue stirring while syrup heats, about 5 minutes.
  3. When all ingredients are dissolved completely, and syrup has slightly thickened, about 10 minutes total, remove from heat. Cool completely.
  4. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
