Ingredients

  • 10 cups fresh concord grapes, removed from stems and washed
  • 4 cups unsweetened, unfiltered apple juice
  • 6 sticks cinnamon (about 4-6")
  • 2 whole star anise
  • 40 whole cloves
  • 40 whole allspice berries

Instructions

  • Bring all ingredients to a boil in a large pot or dutch oven. Reduce heat to simmer. Cover and simmer 25 minutes, stirring a few times to make sure the grapes burst.
