You guys. I GOT TO DRINK WINE! WHILE PREGGERS! Oh man, I am stoked about this.

So, it's no secret that the hubbs and I like to have our cocktails. I love creating new and exciting, seasonal drinks with alcohol! However, now that I'm pregnant, I have to get creative with my drinks. We've got this rule in our house right now: Jared can have any drink he wants in the house, EXCEPT wine. That is the only thing I will get too jealous of. Ha!

Well... I'm pretty jealous of his ability to tie his shoes these days. That too. ๐Ÿ™‚

Before I connected with FRE wines, I had never heard of alcohol removed wine. Insert all the shocked and happy emojis!! What an awesome alternative for peeps like me who love wine, but are not indulging in alcohol! Less than 0.05% alcohol remains in the wine!

I brought some to a bbq a few weeks ago, and it was so great to feel like part of the party after 7 months of saying, "I wish!"

My favorite sippingย wine is the red blend, but I felt that the merlot was just a tad sweeter, and perfect for this frozen, fruity mocktail. I didn't add any sugar to this drink, because I wanted the flavor of the wine to come through the strawberries and ice. But, if you'd like a sweeter drink, feel free to blend in some sugar! Also, this recipe makes enough for about 4 drinks, but it should be enjoyed right away, while the ice is still slushy. If you are only making enough to serve yourself, cut the recipe in half, or in quarters.

I have enjoyed alcohol free wines in the past but have not tried FRE. I'll have to check it out! When I throw a party I can't drink until everyone is served their food....my focus goes sideways and I forget I'm hosting! This would be wonderful on 4th of July!
