Are you in pumpkin spice mania right now? I’ve seen some craaaaaazy things that should just um…. not be pumpkin flavored. Ya know?
I’m definitely a fan of pumpkin, and for sure actual pumpkin spice. But the whole pumpkin spice flavor thing in coffee and cookies and stuff. Hmmmm… not for me.
This smoothie though… it’s straight up pumpkin pie in a glass. Drinkable pumpkin pie. Yesssssss!
Raise your hand if you’re obsessed with yogurt! 🙋🏻 I love love love it. It’s in so many recipes that I’ve made on this blog, and this train ain’t stoppin anytime soon! A daily dose of probiotics is a must for me, and I usually get it in smoothie form. It’s just…. easy. Pretty much anything blended with yogurt tastes good. Right?
So….. Rhubarbaby is drinking his own smoothies. Like, on his own with no help out of a glass. OMG! 😱 And using a friggin fork. Where the heck has my baby gone? This pumpkin smoothie is one of his fave smoothies I’ve made so far. This kid is going to love all that pumpkin pie in November!
Pumpkin spice probiotic smoothie recipe! A super healthy way to get your pumpkin spice fix, with a big dose of probiotic filled yogurt and raw honey. Tastes just like drinkable pumpkin pie!
- 1 1/2 cups yogurt of your choice. I used plain low-fat*
- 1/3 cup pumpkin puree. Canned or homemade**
- 1 Tbsp raw, unfiltered honey
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Enjoy!
*Be sure to choose yogurt with live active cultures
**Be careful that this is pumpkin puree and not pumpkin pie filling
